Summer Event Series at General Grant Houses
Five $1,000 awards were given to GGH residents, former and current, to provide community-based programming. These GGH resident-led programs are supported by the General Grant Houses Community Fund. The GGH Community Fund is a competitive small grant program for residents of GGH. GGH is a member institution of Morningside Area Alliance.

Apply for Grants! For NYC public schools in Community School District 5
Are you a teacher, school, staff or parent in District 5 schools?
Do you have an idea that would benefit students or parents in your school?
Apply for funding in these areas:
- Class projects
- Parent resources
- Parent workshops and events
- Innovative learning opportunities
- Hands-on learning
- Curriculum enhancements
- Other areas of educational interest
The Fund for District 5 seeks to fund projects that create new opportunities in CSD 5 for teachers, parents, and students to learn through innovatives projects.
Small grants are awarded to projects that will directly impact students or parents at individual schools. The mission of the Fund for District Five is to help make innovative ideas become reality in schools.
The deadline to submit your proposal is Friday, June 4, 2010 by 5:00 PM. Awards will be announced in July 2010. Grants will only be awarded to public schools in NYC Community School District 5.
